Castle crew on Twitter + episode commentary + describing Stana’s water scene in "In the belly of the beast"

Andrew: She did a lot of the stunt work here, Stana did. We had somebody in, but she wanted to do a lot of it.

Rob: I don’t think I used the double except when I couldn’t have Stana. So, Stana did every single shot that she was available to do, which I think was 95% of them. I couldn’t even tell you which shots aren’t Stana. I would just play along that every single one of them is.

Castle 7x01 “Driven ” still

The important thing to remember is that Beckett is a detective, so she can’t wear things that will identify her, she can’t wear things like that on her hands that would distract from the conversation, that could be stolen, that could possibly hinder her when she’s shooting or hand-fighting.The ring “is something that Beckett’s very protective of, because she loves it, so on occasion, if it’s like a big event or maybe a private moment outside of being in bed, she can wear it. But having it on display at the work place is not appropriate, especially as a detective.

Castle + "imagine your OTP" (x)

"I mean, nothing makes better love story stuff than facing your immortality, right? Nothing gives you better sex scenes than facing your own mortality. *Laughs*

Interviewer: “In 2014 you won in PCA the Best TV Dramatic Actress. How do you feel about that?”

Stana: “It was amazing! It was crazy!I can’t believe it. I was honored, I didn’t know that…you know…I was grateful that people like with I’m doing so…sweet, you know, blown away. Still…yeah”

Interviewer: How do you feel knowing that you’re the inspiration for a character like Kate Beckett? She’s a strong woman, working in a men’s job that has made her way in that world. What was your reaction when Andrew told you about creating a show like Castle?

Terri: Super flattered. I love the way I look through Andrew’s eyes. I am honored that he considers me his muse, AND, he is mine. When I read his pilot for Castle, I was blown away, and the most romantic part is, when the pilot got picked up, he told me he wanted us to make the show together. He says I bring the “sparks.” (x)

Andrew: It’s a tough scene (the interrogation room in 1x01 btwn Kate & Rick), because we’ re trying to establish both characters. We’re also trying to establish an element of antagonism, and sparks here. - Andrew Marlowe 1x01 Castle commentary
