Burke: What do you think he’s telling you with his behavior?

Beckett: That maybe…he’s not there anymore? That maybe he’s not ready?

Burke:…

Beckett: What if I waited too long?

Burke: You weren’t waiting, Kate. You were healing.

“You gotta do something”.

Espo words have a double meaning (even if he may not knowing it), and Beckett perfectly understands it.

By the way, after this episode I think Castle will be “one detective boy”, as Beckett is “one writer girl”. Experience teaches.
